Body Found in Hamptonburgh Preserves

CAMPBELL HALL – State Police are investigating the discovery of a body found in Hamptonburgh Preserve Saturday afternoon.

Police received a phone call from a woman who was on a path off Route 416 in the Town of Hamptburgh when she came upon a deceased individual. Troopers responded to interview the woman and begin an investigation. The Goshen Ambulance Corp responded and met troopers including uniform and plainclothes members.

Details of the incident were not immediately available.
