Blooming Grove Residents Receive Postcard Postmarked From Monsey

A postcard that received by many residents of Blooming Grove this week was clearly sent from Monsey in Rockland County. It urged voters to vote against the Town's option to return to the long held staggered terms that officials believe would ensure continuity and experience in Town governance and protect against the possiility of an entirely new board (which could happen every 2 years) with Councilmembers who might have little or no experience doing budgets, understanding local and state codes and with minimal or no knowledge of the historical background needed for educated and smart decision-making.

Residents are now left with the question "Why would Monsey want quicker turnover of Council in Blooming Grove."
