By now most people in our area not only know that there are a few legal cannibis dispensaries in our area, they also know there are a few that are unlicensed. Well, apparently it is not just "A Few".

This week there were 3 raids in Poughkeepsie, and 7 in New Square, Rockland County. These are the kinds of raids that find fentanyl laced into the mix, for an extra "kick" to the customer, because the mass purchase has not been safely tested. If you don't already know, it only takes a tiny bit of fentanyl to kill. And you can risk your life by even being near enough to smell or accidently touch it.

So, is 1 in 10 purchases at a "Vape Shop" that sells uncertified cannibis worth risking your life for a little "high"? Shop owners have no idea what might be in cannabis they purchased that has not been from a certified provider.

"Not in my town?", "Not my son?", "Not my daughter"? Don't bet on it! One top expert asked how much could be deadly said "If you can see it, it can kill."

Further concerning is that of fake prescription pills seized by the DEA last year, SIX out of TEN pills contained a potentially deadly dose of fentanyl.
