Blooming Grove - Ryne Kitzrow, who chairs the Town's Conservation Advisory Committee gave a presentation at the Town Board's monthly Workshop about the intent of the group being of assistance to the officials' work and clarifying that if the change to being a "Conservation Advisory Board" (rather than "Commission") is made that purpose would not change, and the group would not have decision-making authority. Kitzrow quickly turned his presentation into a questions/answering session which primarily focused on what kinds of benefits it would offer additionally to what they already do. He explained how they would continue to act at the behest and knowledge of the Town and simply have some access to some additional resources that they currently don't have. This having been a Workshop Session, a Resolution enabling the change has not yet been made.
Chairman of the Town's Conservation Advisory Commission, Ryne Kitzrow, describes its history, use by other muicipalities, and benefit of recognizing it as a "Board".
