Car Enthusiasts Kicking off String of Meet-ups With Cup of Joe and Coffee in Campbell Hall

Clover Knoll on Route 207 in Campbell Hall

hosting a Cars and Coffee Event

– Cars and Coffee: A concept that was developed a couple years back.

Early in the morning, car and bike enthusiasts grab a coffee and a bagel or roll and head to a parking lot to meet up. No trophies, no raffles, just catching up with friends and a little shop talk. That’s what took place on April 14th at Clover Knoll on Route 207 in Campbell Hall, hosted by the Hudson Valley Hot Rods in collaboration with Shaker Smoothie and Beast’s Pantry.

Clover Knoll, Campbell Hall

The event started at 8 a.m. and by 9 the parking lot really started to fill up. A number of Jeeps rolled in, as well, from ICON Jeeps and Supreme Jeeps. Being the first Cars and Coffee of the season at the Clover Knoll, car enthusiasts were really itching to gather. It was nice talking with folks and seeing everyone out of hibernation.

Clover Knoll on Route 207 in Campbell Hall hosted a Cars and Coffee event on April 14th.

It was a really good crowd, despite a little chill in the air. All are invited to attend including motorcycles. Shaker Smoothie, a shake bar and coffee lounge, owned by Holly Joy, was serving up cold or hot brews, cold brew protein lattes and protein shakes.

There are several flavors. I had orange creamsicle that was really delicious. Go to shakersmoothie.com to find out more. Behind the building is a little shop called Beast’s Pantry, owned by Bill Carrado of Goshen.

It may be a small shop, but it is chock full of jams, honey, mustards, sauces and rubs. There’s also hot sauces and you can try them by participating in a hot sauce tasting. Beast’s Pantry also makes their own spice blends. All locally sourced (except the hot sauces). To find out more go to the spicebeast.com.

The Clover Knoll Cars and Coffee will take place the second Sunday of each month from 8 a.m. to noon. The next one will be Mother’s Day, May 12. It’s free, so please if you attend, patronize the businesses there.

There are other Cars and Coffee events in the area so go to My Ride of the Hudson Valley on Facebook for the complete cruise and event lists.
