THE PARADE OF FIRETRUCKS
GOD BLESS THEM ON THEIR LIFESAVING WORK!
First Responders would like to be home at a barbecue like everyone else on Memorial Day, but they also love showing their Community Pride by shining up for a big Parade. The weather wasn't great for barbecues on Monday anyway, but they sure got their shine on for the Parade. A group of senior fans who have watched more emergencies than most of us, know what "Service" means and understand how these workers and their fancy trucks get out there in snow and rain ...for life and death, and these 'elders' were having a grand time watching and honoring as the big trucks came up Arrow Point Lane.
Don't forget that we will all get to see them again when the Orange County Volunteer Firemen's Parade will be held here in September (lots of notices will be up). Many of the plans for it began 6 months or more ago and it is shaping up to be SPECTACULAR!

(A few of these Firetrucks are so large they would not fit in an image without
backing so far away that all the details of who they are would be lost. Apologies if running around for a decent angle I may have missed a truck or two.)
