Thirteen-year-old Wins Big At Goshen's Annual Quick-Hagerty Car Show

Amanda Mulligan, 13 years old, wins $940 "50-50", Diana KyDon who does much of the work for the annual event hands her the cash.
Goshen - The Annual Auto Show held in the fields at Goshen's Fire Training Show brought a huge crowd and several hudred classy autos including 60's and 70's GTO's, along with some early '30s and '40s cars that shined like a new copper penny, totalling over 100 vehicles from all over the region.. Quick is a Blooming Grouve Town Council Member and an Orange County Chamber of Commerce member. But busy as he is, his favorite activity of the year is this car show and he prepares for it months ahead with co-sponsor Diana KyDon.
There was excitement all afternoon, but the big surprise cane at the end when the "50-50" winner was announced. The crowd erupted in cheers when the winner was announced as thirteen-year-old Amanda Mulligan, daughter of John and Sabrina Mulligan. Her smile says it all, as she receives the $940 prize from the show's co-sponsor Diana KyDon. Amanda registered with her own money, and she knows just what she wants to spend some of the prize money on. Her big wish this year was to be able to go to Softball Camp, and this is going to make it happen.

There was a "Best Police Car (see picture below), a Best Club (845 Mopar....(Mopar stands for Motor Parts, which date back to the 1930's when Chystler -Dodge first made parts available - clearly a key to being able to do auto restorations),







Of the official auto entries, winners included: a 2012 Ford NASCAR, a 2018 Dodge Challenger RT, a 2002 Chevy Camaro, a 1966 Pontiac GTO, and many more totalling 30 plaques and trophies.

All proceeds from this show are given to the Orange County Law Enforcement Memorial.
