We were saddened to hear of the death of Rabbi Pesach Burston's father. This family and congregation, which is always "Looking for the Light", will grieve and heal, cherish a lot of beautiful memories, and continue to see the Light.

With tremendous sadness I inform you of the passing of my dear father, Rabbi Chaim Binyomin Burston (father of Rabbi Pesach Burston)

A cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and teacher, he was a beloved mentor, role model and teacher to thousands of students and renowned storyteller for children across the globe.

I will be sitting shiva first in Los Angeles, then in Monroe, NY and in Crown Heights with schedule as follows:

Sunday-Tuesday: With my mother and eight siblings in Los Angeles.

Visiting hours 10am-2pm, 4-9pm

Shacharit morning service: 9:00am

Mincha afternoon service (followed by Maariv) 4:30pm
