Political Season & Primaries Are Around the Corner - Letter to the Editor Supporting Virginia Scott

On June 27th, vote for Virginia Scott in the Democratic primary for Cornwall Supervisor. Virginia has been an active community board member through multiple administrations, and has played an integral role in moving Cornwall forward, while maintaining the charm we’ve all come to love. Whether she is working on Cornwall’s master plan, the Mother’s Day Plant Sale, Honor Flight, Riverfest, volunteering time at The Hudson Valley Food Bank, or working on any number of committees for the Town of Cornwall, Virginia gets involved.

I first met Virginia in 2019 when I had new neighbors move in and start an illegal camp on a neighboring property on Boulder Drive. From the beginning of my experience at town hall, and through two administrations, Virginia was supportive, and actively involved in ensuring this camp was not allowed to operate. She came out to observe the issue first hand. She has been receptive to my messages, photos and emails. Virginia listened, acted, and has been my most adamant ally on the town board.
