Orange County Government Center in Goshen
GOSHEN – Ten municipalities and one developer have been approved to receive more than $2 million through the 2023 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships Program funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Those awards will enable communities to address local needs by pursuing a variety of infrastructure, ADA accessibility and community development projects.
“The County continues to partner with municipalities to ensure that they can access the most effective resources, including federal grant programs,” said County Executive Steven Neuhaus said. “Through our Office of Community Development, we develop these meaningful partnerships and pursue high-impact projects that will better the lives of Orange County residents. These grants will help communities throughout the county improve their senior centers, sidewalks, sewer systems, drainage, and roads.”
The Orange County Legislature will be submitted to HUD as part of the County’s 2023 Housing and Community Development Annual Action Plan:
