Lower Hudson Valley Flood Alert - A flood adisory was reset about 8pm from the National Weather Commission and scheduled to expire just after midnight. But the rain continues and creeks and rivers continue to be at risk of breaching shores throughout the Lower Hudso Valley and both southward to Bergen County where the Saddle River was said to flood, as well as in the North Country.

Resident are encouraged to stay off the roads until waters subside and to turn around if they drive upon ponding.

Sunshine is expected by mid-morning.
