A New Flower Garden Honors Dona Weyant at the Woodbury Historical Society
Flowers, family, friends, community, books, history, a well-lived life. Dona did it all. Although I never met her it was a pleasure to hear about her and spend time with those that traveled life's road with her. On Saturday, July 25, 2026, the Woodbury Historical Societyhonored Dona Weyant, a former member of the Historical Society and alocal librarian.
The Dona Weyant Memorial Garden has been installed at the Rushmore Memorial Library Building which is now the home of the Woodbury Historical Society. The building is located at 543 on Route 32 in Highland Mills.
The current Town Historian, Alex Prizgintas hosted the outdoor luncheon. The
weather, sunny but with a cool breeze, permitted friends and co-workers to meet and remember.
The Garden and the Historical Museum are well worth the visit. For further information visit:
