Washingtonville Students Got Serious About Studies After the Holidays

Noses to the grindstone of study after a holiday

Students at Washingtonville's Middle and High Schools collaborated on several computer projects. In the top photo the Middle School kids got a first look at what is called the High School's eSports Stadium, where students engage in competitive computer sports.

Meanwhile, Teams at the High School had some fun on a STEM project, designing and trying out catapults and find out which design could launch a crumpled ball of foil the farthest to their project partner.

And at Little Britain Elementary School these 2 young ladies have a very exciting task. Their goal is to learn how to give some computer coding commands to these DASH robots. If they are successful the robots will respond to their commands.
