Hudson Valley Honor Flight #27 departed from New York Stewart International Airport on Saturday morning bringing the former service members and their chaperons to Washington, DC.

They toured war memorials and monuments to American history. Several hundred people gathered at Stewart early in the morning to waive on the honorees.

As they returned home with smiles on their faces, they were greeted once again by hundreds of American flag-waiving friends and neighbors to pay tribute to their service to our country.

The Hudson Valley Honor Flights originate from Stewart and Westchester County Airport
