Gummy Treats Result In Goshen Teen Arrest

Goshen – A 16-year-old female Goshen High School student was arrested on Monday after a 16-year-old male student reported feeling dizzy, lightheaded, and lethargic after consuming an “edible.” The incident occurred shortly after noon.

He was transported to Garnet Health Medical Center emergency room in the Town of Wallkill for evaluation.

The school resource officer immediately conducted an investigation with school administration and the girl was arrested and charged with juvenile delinquency and endangering the welfare of a child, Goshen Village Police Chief James Watt said on Tuesday.

She was issued a family court appearance ticket and released to the custody of her parents.
