New Windsor, NY -- (05/05/23) Republican and Conservative candidate for New Windsor Town Supervisor, former Assemblyman Colin J. Schmitt (R,C New Windsor), has been endorsed by the New York State Rifle and Pistol Association ahead of the June 27th Republican Primary.


Tom King, New York State Rifle and Pistol Association president stated, "Colin Schmitt is a proven defender of our 2nd Amendment rights and outdoor sporting traditions. Colin is exactly the type of principled conservative Republican leader we need in office- a leader who stands by his core values and respects the constitution. That is why on behalf of the New York State Rifle and Pistol Association I endorse and support Colin and encourage Republican voters in New Windsor to vote for Colin Schmitt for Town Supervisor on June 27th."

Colin Schmitt is committed to public service. Colin is a member of the U.S. Army National Guard and former Assemblyman for the 99th NYS Assembly District which included the Town of New Windsor as its largest town.
